Dr. Prince is the CEO and founder of I Dream Big Summer Academy, an academy created to decrease summer learning loss among K-8th grade students. She started the program with 15 students and now the program has more than 270 students enrolled and currently has two locations. She is known for her expertise in Turning Schools Around through building Relationships through a positive culture and climate. Dr. Prince is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, educator, administrator, motivational speaker, ordained minister, and an author of two children's books. She is known as a fearless and dedicated advocate for students. Her mission is to inspire and motivate others to “Dream Big” and strive for excellence in whatever they do.
She serves as a Lead Mentor Administrator for the Principal Candidate Residency Program. Dr. Prince is highly sought out as an energetic motivational speaker. She has presented at some of the most prominent educational conferences such as Model Schools and HMH Alabama Leadership Summit. Lucretia has shared her expertise on several podcasts, conducted radio and television interviews, as well as published a featured blog for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
She shares her story of adversity and triumph. Dr. Prince uses her life story to serve as an example for others that despite adversity, trials, and setbacks, you must believe in yourself and know that you can be “Whatever” you want to be. Sometimes our most difficult test uncovers our greatest strengths and teaches us how to lead from a place of purpose and passion.
